Kitting is an inventory tactic where related products or components, which are usually sold separately, are bundled together and sold as a customised kit specific to each project. To do this, our kitting team identifies the exact number of products needed for each component of the build and packs them into a case ready for you to use on the production line.
By consolidating various items into a single kit, you can streamline your production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
For example, if you’re putting together a firetruck and require two hinges, eight bolts, eight washers, and eight nuts, our kitting team will pack all of these components into a labelled container and deliver it to you before building commences.
