What is HUCK tooling?

HUCK tooling consists of componentry from air-driven handheld HUCK rivets to petrol-driven hydraulic power units. Like any mechanical apparatus, this equipment requires regular maintenance and servicing to guarantee accurate calibration in the installation process.

We can provide a scheduled maintenance program on tooling to satisfy a number of industry standards and can supply support documentation for certification.

Our HUCK tooling can be broken down into two main categories:

Large-diameter HUCK tooling

Includes portable hydraulic units that drive hydraulic installation tools through hose kits to install HUCK fasteners.

Small-diameter HUCK tooling

Incorporates handheld air riveters with special nose assemblies to install a range of HUCK rivets and two-piece fasteners.

Our services and repair process

In NSW, we have a complete workshop area dedicated to repairs, service, inspection, and certification of HUCK tooling. Our experienced technicians are certified and trained through HUCK itself. 

We also offer HUCK services online by consulting with customers over the phone or email to establish the value in service or repair if they’re unable to send tooling to us and just want some technical assistance.

Receive tooling

HUCK tools can be dropped off at our workshop at Ovesco Newcastle or sent via transport from around the country.

Evaluate tool condition

Once received, we evaluate the service or repair status and provide an estimate of costs needed to reinstate the tool back into operation.

Carry out repairs

If the tooling can be repaired and it makes economical sense, our technicians will return it to its original condition. Most common parts are stocked on-site for fast turnarounds.

Assist with new equipment

If we deem a tool beyond economical repair, we can help the customer with a quote for the supply of new equipment as we are an authorised HUCK Master Distributor.
